Since reading this thread, I've been revisiting the (by most) lesser-liked Sabbath albums...

I still think Technical Ecstacy just kind of sucks, honestly, but Never Say Die does manage to have some good moments that save it from total mediocrity and lameness.

It's still far from my favorite Sabbath album, and it tends to be kind of cheesy and boring much the same way TE was, but the intro to Air Dance is still kick ass (the whole song is pretty interesting, even if it seems totally unlike Sabbath):

Shock Wave almost seems to be foreshadowing Ozzy's solo material more than anything, and it's one of the better songs (IMO):

If you can get past the goofy synth intro, Johnny Blade also has its moments, but it's kind of teetering on the edge of cheese (and, again, seems kind of like Ozzy-solo stuff, which I just love to hate and hate to love):

Those are really the only tracks worth much to me, though...

We all did, but "Over the Mountain" is obviously a waaaay better Sabbath tune and we didn't want to hurt any feelings.

Dunno... I could go on like this all day... these are in no particular order with the exception being that I love Dio era Sabbath better than Ozzy. :grumpy:
"abandon all hope ye who crush that button..."

Jrmy: Exactly - "the fuzz is strong with that one."
