Re: The Netflix Thread
Nice.
Watched the Rogan special.
Were some hilarious bits, but i found myself agreeig with him seriously more than laughing.
I also found myself sadly in lack of a fat baggie to smoke.

I'm rewatching The West Wing because I'd like to imagine that Martin Sheen is the real president instead of Trump.
Since I always forget:
SPOILER : show

Re: The Netflix Thread
Frank was awesome. I actually really enjoyed the music and overall it was pretty funny. I've also recently watched Locke, which was pretty interesting, considering it was just Tom Hardy driving in a car for an hour and a half. And American Hero was what I wanted Hancock to be; a booze and drug fuelled superhero.

Re: The Netflix Thread
Frank was good, though it really just kinda made me depressed.
I'm hesitant to admit this, but I've been watching The 100. It starts off *really* bad, but after maybe four or five episodes, it really commits to its world and actually becomes somewhat compelling in a dumb, edgy comic book kind of way. It's like The Breakfast Club + Planet of the Apes + Red Dawn + War Games + Waterworld + the first RE movie + Battlefield Earth + hot lesbians + stabbing. Takes itself soooo seriously in all the right (ie, wrong) ways.

Now that I started re-watching Covert Affairs, I realize how hokey it was.

Re: The Netflix Thread
Finished Frontier and actually have a good time with it.
Watched I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore. It sorta took a turn from a potentially poignant story to an ultra-violence fest. Wes Andersen meets Quentin Tarantino?
Just started the final season of Penny Dreadful and was instantly reminded how much I love that show!

Re: The Netflix Thread
Dude I watched a fair amount of that show. Season one was the most interesting, though none of them really did much for me. Tons of potential, but it never quite shed the MTV/teenage vibe that limited it. Reminded me of Chronicles of Shannara in that regard. But it's all fun and games, anyway. The Eristic wrote:Frank was good, though it really just kinda made me depressed.

That show could be so good if they got rid of the idiotic "we're teenagers in a dangerous world that constantly want to fuck" thing.

But they water down both elements. I'll listen to Manu Bennett growl into cameras for as long as he wants to, though.

Re: The Netflix Thread
Im rewatching and finishing Vikings season 4.
Didnt realise how many little things i missed the first time around.
Also, in regards to teen soaps and dramas, ive always though that theyd be infinitely better if made for adults.
Home and Away is the worst show ever, but if it was R rated, it would be the best.
But, we cant have 20 year olds depicting teenagers fucking
