Back off topic briefly...

Where did you get the replacement 72-pin connector? I've hand bent the pins back out but I don't wanna do that more than once and risk breaking one...

I've got the sweet Gold Zelda too :yay: & Link in Gold aswell :yay:

I have a bitchin' little gamestore by my house that has random parts like that for sale, so I picked one up from there. I've also seen em on ebay for cheap.

:idk:

Well, if he doesn't, he can delete the thread and I'm sorry.

This wasn't about busting myths, more about appreciation of good work. The new PCBs look cute and I bet it means they're all neat inside. Okay so from the Mini Wolf Comp one we can see that the Control knob is a Sag, so it must mean the Fuzz is maxed out and the Bias optimised somewhere (Look at me, I'm SoulSonic! lulz ) But this thread isn't about that. It's hardly about pedals at all, at the moment!

Hopefully Eric knows this thread was created with positive vibes in mind: I own two Singing Trees, two CC/DCs, two Melx Fuzzes (soon) and my flatmate a Wolf Computer on my recommendation (His singer used my CC/DC and Ben used his Wolf Comp at a gig last week and it slayed, by the way) We're big fans.

Yea, I think Eric is pretty open about what his stuff is or is influenced by. If he was really worried about them he'd goop them.

yea i shoulda gooped.

ok, some of the rarer stuff im probably not too proud of the gutshots. the newer, or more common items, im more proud of the guts. simply because A) newer stuff is on PCBs or B) if ive made alot of the same thing, I probably have worked out a fairly clean layout.

so if its ugly inside dont post it so i dont have to be embarrassed lol

The Mellowtone pedals I have owned all had really awesome guts. Extremely neat work on perfboard. I was totally jealous of your skillz Eric. :thumb:

Wish I had some pics.

i dont know who makes GGG stuff, but i just use ExpressPCB... easy laymans type software, at the expense of higher prices, but i have my trick to get a better price on my PCBS by gang running different ones together and then cutting or snapping em apart

The new guts really are beautiful! I must admit, though, even the old wolf computers had an extremely clean, professional looking layout despite being built on pefboard.
