Goatkeeper 3 of course.
But at the end I don't need the fancy stuff for most of the stuff I play, so I will be happy with any tremolo, really!

They have ruined tremolo pedlols for me.

There were rumors of a memento v2 for a while wasn't there? That'd be cool...

I have one and I love it a lot. It sounds really nice.tabcantab wrote:Anybody used the little Malekko Trem? Been thinking about picking up something basic and relatively cheap since I'm sans-trem at the moment

I've settled on a swindler effects red mountain!
I'll have to pop back in here to let you all know how it is.

Swooping in pointlessly late to drop a +1000 for the 80Tape Variable State Tremolo....
Aaaaaand read the thread, so late.... InifniPicard mode: activate.

Re: Your Favorite Tremolo Pedals?
Never tried a fancy tremolo. I like the Black Cat mini trem a friend of mine has, it just sounds really nice, volume and tone knobs so you can use it as a boost with zero trem depth. A/B'd it once with another friend's HardWire TR-7, which is more versatile, but digital so sounded noticeably colder. I like my tremolos choppy. Would like a PN-2 at some point, if I can find one at a reasonable price.

Re: Your Favorite Tremolo Pedals?
For standard tremolo I think the supatrem is one of the best sounding ones I've tried. And it's pretty affordable used if I remember correctly.
The goatkeeper is a great pedal as far as functions and possibilites go but it's kinda cold sounding and harsh on the wave. Imho.
The gravitas is better but I can't get the warm sounds I see in the knobs video. Amazing features on this one as well tho. So it's a lose&win situation with these two.
Any more info on the 80tape one? Discovered it in the bts thread but I can't find much info or demos business the one posted by vidret

Re: Your Favorite Tremolo Pedals?
Moog MF Trem has been my keeper. Easy to use, wide variety of sounds. No tap, but I don't really need it. No volume knob, but it's automatically compensated for a slight boost when it's on. It uses a LFO which gives it a warm but unique tone, just a touch of synth to its texture that I find really miss when I use other trems.

Re: Your Favorite Tremolo Pedals?
Tap tempo is imperative for me when it comes to trems, especially with choppier waves, can't stand having my guitar's attack be cut out when I don't mean it to be.

Man, no one has mentioned the Spaceman Voyager? Easily the best trem I've ever tried. Easily.
MF Trem was also very sweet though, and a fraction of the price of the Voyager.

Bumping up -- how's the swindler red mountain. Looks dope, based on vids.
