What have you bought ...

Post by JereFuzz »

What have you bought as a DIRECT result of coming to ilovefuzz? Meaning, I didn't know it existed until I came to ilovefuzz, now I own it.

Pretty sure I didn't know about smallsound/bigsound before checking on here regularly. I now have 2 Minis and a Buzzz...

Apart from that, nothing I think, though reading things here sort of rekindled my interest in effect pedals, but basically for things I already knew about.

Hm. Ct5, Mini, RM1N (the greatest hits of ILF  ) are the first that come to mind. I'm sure there's been more.

Edit: actually I might've heard about the Ct5 via Knobs right before I joined... actually now that I think about it, searching for info about it might've been what pointed me here. Anyway, I'm consistently happy that I joined. My wallet isn't.

Echo Degrader and RM1N, Fuck, Mini, TAFM, Doom Bloom, aarp.

Keeping the Echo Degrader forever, looking forward as hell to the aarp.

Seems like a Pitchgrinder that doesn't chew your signal and make it monophonic. Very cool looking.

Ezhi and Aka Moomindrone (which is arriving today!).

That's what I've actually bought because of this forum.

But I've learned about many builders I'd never heard of and I'm sure the list will be longer eventually.

Generation Loss and maybe the CT5 (or maybe I saw it in my Reverb feed or on YouTube).

I have not bought the Limbo yet, but I probably found 80Tape here, too. That's about it. I was buying pedals a long time before I found all these goofy internet people, who pretend to read books.

Nothing yet, but I've got a feeling the Deluxe Gainsaw will be the first, thanks to our residential black haired dolphin.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some but:

Mellowtone Singing Tree
Dwarfcraft Corgan SOMMS; Memento,
MOM-D one-offs(they were gifts but I'd buy them again in a heartbeat as they're fucking incredible/Schlatte is the man)
The big three IE pedals... obviously (since they started on ILF)
Mon.Asm's The Goodbye 24, CT5 (also have a positive but that was an SS thing)
Badascan
Dirge gear
RMA Dirty Doper
The Blackout Stoke I sent JD for ILFSS2014
The Dr. Sherms Ends and Oceans I sent to BobTheR for this year's SS
