Re: Your Favorite Tremolo Pedals?
I have a supa trem, and I think it sounds really good. I wish it had tap tempo but that's pretty minor for me anyways

Re: Your Favorite Tremolo Pedals?
I love many tremolos.
All the suggestions are good so far.
If you want tap tempo at a good price with some wacky wave forms look at the Copilot FX polypus. It's rad.
Seymour Duncan shape shifters don't hold their value well and can be found pretty cheap second hand.

Tonal Recall and Spectre don't do tremolo (don't have a volume knob/dipswitch).worra wrote:If you own any CBA pedals, you already have a trem

Basic Audio Throbby rules all!
The Sonar has lots of cool features but lacked the hypnotic allure of the Throbby.

Supatrem 2 with one side going to an amp that was set dark and one side with another amp set bright and the phase knobby up pretty high made a very glorious swirling sound for true harmonic FM tremolo. I put one into a Pro Jr set dark and a DRRI set bright and it made a very encapsulating sound. It also had the best normal AM tremolo sound when just straight into one amp.

Anybody used the little Malekko Trem? Been thinking about picking up something basic and relatively cheap since I'm sans-trem at the moment

What's a trem with a good maxxed Ampeg, Vox, maxxed Acoustic, square wave choppy trem? Extra points out doesn't cost a ton.

The Source Audio Vertigo can get pretty close to the Vox Repeat Percussion and some other vintage rhythms. ($149 list, so about $129 on sale...$105-120 used)maggot wrote:What's a trem with a good maxxed Ampeg, Vox, maxxed Acoustic, square wave choppy trem? Extra points out doesn't cost a ton.

Goatkeeper 3 of course.
But at the end I don't need the fancy stuff for most of the stuff I play, so I will be happy with any tremolo, really!
