finished this pedal for my nemesis, outer two foot switches go to one 1/4" jack to change presets, middle goes to the other 1/4" and 1/8" jacks for tap tempo for the nemesis and my tremolo.

Just letting you know I tried a cut test with the plum brown from the link above and it came out quite nice. Don't love it yet as it could have used a bit more and I sanded some of it off. But not bad, as I thought this process was going to be a simple fix for these enclosures that are hard to etch to get a good depth to allow for paint to not get sanded off when sanding off the toner. So, now I think I'm going to sand this down and retry it but etch it first, apply the plum brown and then strip off the toner with acetone. Then it will be perfect!

My latest build - its a Deep Blue Delay with a Taptation daughterboard and a momentary stomp for maxing out the repeats while its held down.





The Taptation board really does turn the simple PT2399 board into a full featured delay. Tap, subdivisions, half time, modulation with two speeds. The tap tempo is pretty accurate as well. I am yet to do it, but I have a feeling that when I compare this directly with my V1 Echolution, Deluxe Memory Boy and El Capistan, I reckon it will hold its own fairly well. Less so with the El Capistan, it obviously having all the secondary features and sound-on-sound looping, but its still going to be in the ballpark for sure.

Yea, there were some areas that were a bit blotchy so I was sanding a touch. But that's what I love about this process is that you can basically wipe off the toner with acetone, clear coat it and be done. Now I need to order some of the birchwood casey stuff for aluminum....

Nice! I def love the idea of not etching some things. This way is way faster and looks rad!!!!

haha yeah my roommate said the same thing, it was part that I wanted similar colors to a real one and mostly it was the only colors in the cheapest multipen pack at michaels.

DBA Reverberation Machine with additional damp knob (it's insanely subtle, but just noticeable) and Dark/Bright switch changed to a footswitch.

I'm not super crazy about the verb when it's full wet, mostly because of that weird delayed reverb, but it sounds pretty sweet when set to a more subtle verb with a lot of gain.
