I don't have a dedicated ring mod, just a few modulation pedals that get ringmod-ish, so I guess post fuzz?

Post. I like the ring mod to capture the fuzz and dominate it.

Yeah, I gotta say post. If it's pre, I don't think it really sounds like a ring mod at all. Then it just sounds like you're playing out of tune

I usually have a Frequency Analyzer sitting in-between my dirt pedals that way I can do both. I use it pre-dirt for a more subtle effect and post-dirt for more obvious ring mod sounds.

I do both, depending on the pedal. I have a couple of Atomic Clocks (Fredric Effects) that are over the top--I use those post. I also have a couple of Grumbly Wolfs (again, Frederic Effects) that are a combination distortion/ring mod--I use those pre. The effect is more subtle and is more noticeable in the upper register. And I use a Fuzzhugger Phantom Ring, which is pre, of course. There's a video on my Vimeo page called isotope blues that demonstrates the Atomic Clock, which is post fuzz.

i used to have it last, then i got the ilftaur and found that it worked best in front of everything!!!

but i guess it depends on what you are looking for...
