So! I just wanted to update everyone here from my previous thread where I pretty much said Cioks is a bunch of douche nuggets. I'll spare you the details but I finally got Cioks to agree to fix the Cioksolate that I received from my good ole Australian buddy here. Good day mate. Or whatever.

Anyway, it's been sitting in my desk for a fucking year just taking up space. They weren't even replying to me when I was emailing them last year and told me to send it to someone local. Tried that, couldn't find anyone. I randomly emailed them and basically told them how disgusted and turned off by the whole situation I was. I was willing to pay them to fix it, I didn't ask for free. I received it for free, but figured they would fix it for a fee. No biggie I thought. They didn't want to last year, but have agreed to and they said they'll do it for free even though I offered to pay cash monies.

So major props to Poul for being an awesome dude and helping me out! I didn't want to toss the thing, it was just tearing me up inside! I also told him that I will now be spending a lot of money with him in the future and you all know how that goes with me. hahaha

Anyway, just wanted to share and say they are a stand up company that has great integrity and I'm proud to be using of one their units soon! It will be replacing two Pedal Power +'s!

Awesome. I have 2 pp2+s. Kinda lame having the jumper power plug. Might need to step up my game.

Good to know. I think I am going to have to get one of my DC10s serviced if the shop wont swap me one. Do they have a US service center or am I going to have to fill out a got damn customs form?

legit. i knew it would work out eventually (this has always been in the back of my mind, i honestly don't forget ANYTHING). i love my dc5, so that's one more on the cioks team.

duuuude i'm so glad you finally got that sorted out, i had no idea it would take that long to get a repair out of them ><
