Lastgasp
Dwarfcraft
MASF

Honorable mentions: Fuzzhugger, Copilot, Bananana.

Top three pedals would be LAL 88 Super Oscillo, MASF Raptio and Maxon AD-9. Could probably strip down to those and be happy.

Honoroable mentions (for I too love lists): Dwarfcraft She Fuzz, Mellowtone Wolf Computer, Fuzzhugger AB-Synth, MASF Possessed.

Builders:
Dr scientist because Ryan is responsible for the most pleasurable buying experience I've ever had

Montreal assembly because of absolutely awesome ideas and execution

Third one is harder:
Either digitech, even though they are huge and not really a "builder", their ideas are constantly inspiring to me

Chase bliss because Joel is hella cool and does unique and awesome shit

Dwarfcraft because Ben and Louise are awesome, but I haven't tried their pedals

Ss/bs because Brian does such cool dirt pedals and even though I don't own any I've really liked the ones I've tried (buzzz, Tarn, Pretty years)

Fuzzhugger of course. The Algal bloom and Suneater pedals are awesome, and I want to try more of toms stuff

I can't decide :idk:

Fav pedals:
Timebender
Space
Count to 5

Here's a top 4 with a total number of pedals owned by each company.

Moog: MF-104mSD (12)
Hologram: Dream Sequence (1, soon to be 2)
Empress: Tremolo 2 (5)
EQD: I have 10 of their pedals, but I don't know that one towers over the others. (DT Sr & the Interstellar Orbiter might be the two that get used the most though.)

I have (3) or more pedals from Diamond, Chase Bliss, Fairfield, Catalinbread, Keeley, TC Electronic, EHX, Boss, and Mr. Black. If used Strymon products weren't 90% of MAP, then I would probably own 5 of their pedals.

Favorite builders, for me, are people who I've interacted with that have been absolutely golden. That's Industrialectric, RMA, Dwarfcraft, mtl.asm, Fuzzrocious, MOM-D, Blackout, Dr. Sherm Sticks/digdugDIY, Mellowtone, BAT, etc.

I'm a big fan of Dr. Sci, ss/BS, Copilot, and Fuzzhugger, too, but that's because they're run by super rad people -- the Digitech/DOD family and Dunwich fall under here, too. Even just talking to them on an "internet" first name basis means a lot. Also they all make fucking amazing pedals, I just haven't bought any (well that's not true for Digitech DOD but I don't have any currently).

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure I forgot a bunch.

As far as builders I don't "know,"

Bugbrand, MASF, Koma,

Pedals are probably the Dirty Doper, RM-1N, and the Denormalizer.
good deals are here.

In terms of small builders, I would have to vote for:

Chunk Systems; the Brown Dog fuzz is a filthy beast that will never, ever leave me!

Iron Ether; dealt direct with Taylor and he is super, had no concerns throwing a fair chunk of change across an ocean and boy did he deliver. The Polytope is a sick pedal for sick people.

3leaf Audio; Superfunky pedals that put junk in yo' trunk. The You're Doom doesn't quite sound like anything else I have come across.

Companies of note:
Eventide. Everyone is following their lead now but the originals are still the best, especially if you prefer the Black Ark to Noah's Ark...

Digitech/DOD: great new ideas, timely and widely available reissues of discontinued beauties, what's not to love?

Boss; HM2, FZ2, VB2 etc.

In terms of interaction: Tom @FuzzHugger, Erskin @Catalinbread, John @EAExperiments, Stu @Castledine, Matt @NoiseKickFx, Eric @Mellowtone, Bryan @SS/BS and Scott @MA are all standouts for me. List is longer than 3, but I've had very poor experiences with certain flaky builders and it makes me really appreciate the good.

Too many awesome pedals to list. I'll go with 3 fuzzes: Wolf Computer, 4-Track Fuzz & Suneater.

chase bliss, fairfield, and empress. honorable mention to mtlasm and moog

favorite pedals right now are probably the ayahuasca (and every other CBA pedal, really), empress reverb, and my trusty old ps-5. most excited for the new empress dual engine delay, the new red panda, and the new fairfield chorus/vibe thing
