A gate on/off switch would be cool, even if it's a midi exclusive option or trim adjust.

Curious to hear more as usual.

The fuzz sounds great. That last demo was not ILF at all though. Why guitar players? Why do you always default to goddamn blues licks? It's so obnoxious. Someone shred on this thing!

Haven't had a chance to check out the most recent Brothers demos yet, but I'm totally with you on that one, jwar. The most useful fuzz/dirt demos for me are the ones heavy on riffing, and light on bluesy dad rock licks

As someone who doesn't usually use guitar pedals forthwith 'intended purpose' I'm a big fan on blues licks all the time: it's a great control variable, especially in regards to comparing different flavours.

Really? I'm actually surprised to hear you say that, but that's cool.

I can't really gauge a pedals value or if I'd dig it unless I hear it played with multiple styles. I used to just buy, flip, buy but I'm really, really trying to slow that down for the sake of my wife's sanity and our bank account. ;)

I want to take back what I was saying about Joel's previous pedals. The main issue I have with them is I just am not a diver. I'm lazy and don't hardly ever set things up like pre-sets. I just don't. I'm not sure why? Maybe it's too much commitment for me? His stuff is fantastic. I remember playing the all Chase Bliss board (well minus one pedal was Caroline) at our meet up and I was in heaven. Expensive, fun and sexy heaven.

That's exactly why I don't have any Chase Bliss. Every demo I hear they sound amazing, but I've tried having feature heavy pedals before and they just never really work for me in the end. I know I'd find a couple of settings I loved, only use them for months, then feel like I was wasting the pedal and flip it. Which is a shame because I do want some of those sounds, but simple pedals work waaaay better for the way I play guitar and sort out my stuff.

I'm pretty impressed with the NAMM demos I've seen so far... the Reverb one is indeed a bit blues-wanky, but it gives a good idea of a range of tones. And to think that those are just three... oy.

Anyway, this thing makes me really fucking excited. I flipped my WVMKII and my Tonal Recall because they ended up being way more than I'd ever use, but I could ALWAYS use lots of gain presets. Always. Aside from verb, a variety of gain settings is usually the main thing I'm after on my board, and it's a source of endless headaches and general OCD bullshit for me.

So yep. I will preorder this. :thumb:

I'm gonna get one, but I want an etched version. I strongly dislike gold colored pedals.

I'm really impressed with all those NAMM video.
This is on my GAS list with the Empress Echosystem and the new one from Fairfield Circuitry.
