This entire page is hella awesome. Resin, you should grab like a ditto x4 or any looper that uses midi and make times loops with the drumbrute! Or I mean, do whatever but that would be sweet I assume

At the very least I have my aesthetic down. Kinda wanna stop playing with pedals for a while. I inevitably go into ambient looping which is cool but almost more of a distraction than anything....

Yeah that's one way to do it. Although I did just plugged straight in and it was wonderful. I think im gonna reevaluate how often I want to loop.
& thank ye homie
I really can't wait to slap some flatwounds on it and maybe throw some alumitones in there. Slowly making it into a percussive instrument.

How's the shielding on EBS flats? Does anyone here use [them] with a Harmonic Percolator?

Re: Setup of the day thread?
Thanks dudes
V, the guitar is made from parts, but I bought it as is. 90's MIJ body, stripped, then stained (it looks even better in person, and is going to wear down easily since there is no clear coat); All Parts neck (which is perfectly chunky but not a baseball bat); supposedly american hardware, mustang bridge; SD pickups, vintage neck, hot bridge. As I said before, I think I wanna throw some alumitone singles in there and slap some flatwounds on it. I want it sounding smoooth. Also have plans to switch up the electronics, buying myself a soldering iron and necessary parts once I become gainfully employed again

Tuned to D standard with the heaviest strings I could find. Been planning to put a contact mic on somewhere to replace the rhythm circuit but haven't got round to it yet. Love this thing, used to be my only guitar for years, now it's not but it's still my go-to for heavy music.
I had flats on it for a while years ago, it sounded great!! I just got sick of the feel of them because I like bending and stuff. Alumitones would probably be very cool, keep thinking of switching my pickups out but then I plug it in and they're alright really.
In the background is my setup of the day! Beats - Pretty Years - Count to Five - RRR

Kbit that's a sick setup. The DL4 looks wicked cool in black.
Is that the second presets mod? Or the direct to looper?

Thanks dude! It's the direct to looping mod, which is super simple. Just added a switch in between the ground lug of the mode select rotary pot.Antlerface wrote:Kbit that's a sick setup. The DL4 looks wicked cool in black.

I used this thread as a guide: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/index ... d.1019908/
& it's actually more of a bronze-ish color, but it looks fairly black depending on the lighting/angle.
