F'n hell. Buy that thing. Immediately. Too good.
Or have someone build one to your specs.

This is made by the Creamery in UK.
It's not here... but that's what I'm looking for.
Same thing in mahogany (stain black) with a fat neck would be awesome.

That could be built for $1000 - $1500 (USD) in parts I bet.

I doubt Potvin would do it, but that build would be relatively simple for a luthier with decent experience.

You're pretty close to Vermont, no?

He will build what you want. I was just about to pull the trigger on an order at the beginning of the year but had to hold off due to an employment shake-up. As soon as I get back to having a little disposable income though, I'm back on it. Can't fucking wait.

Yeah and I have been looking at their stuff since 2 - 3 years. But I would have to go through the customs with the guitar which might cost a lot.

Get Creston to meet you at the border.

Wow, that's super shitty... I didn't realize that would cost a lot just to bring a guitar across the border. How much are we talking, out of curiosity?

Probably 15% and not sure if I have broker's fees to pay too.
And from my understanding in their FAQ. A Creston start at 2500 USD (3330 CAD).

True, they're not cheap, but that's also fairly low for a totally custom guitar built buy a one-man shop. Sucks about the 15% fee though... I suppose you couldn't just say "hey, I already had this guitar, was just going over to play with a friend!"

Yeah
But I'm not a pro musician and I'm not that good.
I don't want to pay more than 2500 CAD for a good one.
That's not going to be easy but I want to make guitar playing fun again!
I'm not happy with the tele.

Get a custom guitar from Kiesel. Want something unique? Get a Vader:
