English Pizza places really aren't that great,
we have dominos... which is like the cheap buy a take away pizza when your drunk kinda place.
pizza hut... which is just alright i spose
pizza express...a proper restaurant.. over priced and crap.

Are Brits not generally big pizza eaters, Henry? Canadians eat a ton of pizza.. we had pizza last night even.. from Panago.

I make my own Pizzas in England
I do love a good one... if you can find an Italian resturant then they're good but the chain resturants dedicated to pizza aren't great but quite edible.
I'd agree with Gilmourish though on the resturants, Pizza Express is overpriced and nothing spectacular, Pizza Hut is just well pizza hut, same as it is in the U.S. Okay for an evening out with a few drinks but nothing great, dominos... i've never been in one when drunk they look so horrible...
Nothing beats a pizza in Italy though... I love the bases and fresh taste there... right from the source.

Re: T-Shirt Information!
Amen, Pete, having a pizza in Italy must be a very special experience!
I'd imagine you'd get a very different pizza too depending on where in Italy you are, it seems like every little town in Italy has it's own special way of cooking stuff and it's the only right way if you ask them. So I'll have to eat a pizza in every single little town and I'm ok with that!
I wonder if you compared a Pizza Hut pizza from Canada, the States, and Europe, if they'd all taste exactly the same?

It very much is... I recommend everyone try it and there's so much more than just pizza too.
Yeah you will get variations, alot of the time it'll be a variation though where one place will be meat centered and another part of the country you'd get sea food pizza... Campania is where it all started and the best pizza you can get... Mostly the Southern regions are known for there pizzas, I have heard tales that in some parts of Italy you can actually be given microwaved ones but thankfully I didn't experience that.
Regards Pizza hut, I have done it... it was a long time ago but if I recall, English are fairly oily and alot of cheese, middle of the range between the States, Lots of Cheese and not much tomato to the base with a ton of oil (didn't add extra flavour over the english ones though) and European Pizza huts which are slightly lighter in taste and a bit 'fresher' if you will, I haven't been to Canada yet though, soon... soon...
Oh and I found you a place that imports the beers ryan
dunno how close it is to you but that's the main importer.

Re: T-Shirt Information!
Holy geeez, imagine going to Italy and being served a microwaved pizza... I'd fall off my chair for sure!
Awesome link to the beer importer there, thanks a lot! Ontario is a few provinces away from Alberta but no biggie, that's a great tip to track some down for me and I'm very excited to try some of Britain's finest. Tanya bought me some big 550ml bottles of Newcastle the other day so that's been going well too.
I think there's a few of us that owe it to ourselves to go on extended world-wide pizza eating tours... I'm talking 100 countries in 100 days, pizza 3 meals a day, we'll explore the world and the pizza and we'll walk everywhere and stay thin.

Haha, right on, Molo!
I do want the best pizza and I will be heading to Naples! Some day, hopefully. I ate pizza every day for my birthday week, it's the only way to really celebrate your spirit formation journey anniversary.

i think i might make some muffin pizzas tonight!!!

or maybe just hit barnaby's on the way home for a thin crust pepperoni and black olive...

and a world wide pizza tour sounds like the best idea anyone has ever had anywhere at any time!!!

I hear you, McSpunky, we hosed up with the t-shirt sizes. We only got a few smalls in each shirt, then mostly M and L... but the size we get asked for by far the most is Small. *smacks forehead*
The shirts do shrink nicely though.. with a warm water wash and dry a Medium gets a lot smaller.

I'm debating wearing my Dr. Scientist shirt when I go to NAMM. Take that, vendors who paid to be there. The Dr. is going to be getting free advertising.

Haha you should definitely go in your shirt! And get all drunk and weird and go around telling people you're me...... or maybe say you're Tanya, then my reputation will stay golden for when I finally attend NAMM and ruin it myself.
