Question about Great Wall Dlx. (Tom)

Post by Houdini116 »

I'm really loving my GW, Tom. Honestly, it's one of the thickest, grittiest, heaviest fuzzes I've ever played.

I was wondering if it's possible to get more output/volume out of the pedal when I have the tone bypass switch on. I usually get more use out of the tone bypass side. So is there anything I can do to get more output/volume with it on? I usually leave the pedal on the whole time, but there are songs I like to play where the huge riff has to come roaring in, and I sort of would like the extra volume increase when I step on the pedal.

So, anyway I can mod this? Thanks

Thanks! :omg:  I'm always happy to hear Great Wall love!

I understand wanting more output...with the Tone on, there's still enough to set it for unity, but yeah, if you want lots more than unity...there are a couple ways to increase output. The easiest would be piggybacking another diode on the board. I could hook this up if you email me.
