I've barely been playing guitar these days...devoting all my time (and money) to Eurorack. I also live in a real tiny apartment and have a decent amount of debt. I've been toying with downsizing my guitar collection to just two guitars...my cheap parlor acoustic and my homebuilt baritone telecaster. I figure for playing electric six, i can just capo up the baritone. I'd be selling my Agile Les Paul, which I really love the sound of but not so much the aesthetics (tribal-ly wine red). What would you do? Is downsizing to just a baritone dumb? I'd probably also sell my head/cab since the tube stuff doesn't play too nicely with the synths and get a solid state bass amp instead.
do what works for you. don't sell anything you might regret giving up and will have a hard time replacing. but as always, no regrets, gear comes and goes. i'm all for this idea.

I think you'll ultimately want a standard-tuned guitar and your Agile won't bring in a ton of money. It makes sense to get rid of your head and cab, though, if it doesn't play well with your main instrument and it takes up too much space.
I'm much happier after I got rid of everything I don't use. Sucks a bit at first (because human nature and stuff is important/hold imagined value to us), but feels good when you realize that it just makes everything easier. I'd keep a regular electric guitar around personally, but if you use the baritone more, I don't see why not.
You don't like the finish. It's wouldn't be particularly difficult to find something similar if not more suited to your tastes when you make a financial recovery. I can't see what's holding you up.
Sometimes you have to downsize. If the stuff you're selling isn't to hard to find and thus possibly buy again in the future, no harm really in selling it. I generally don't keep gear if I'm not playing/using it.
I will be surprised if you can get anything approximating the money you have into the Agile back out of it - if you like it, it's worth more as a keeper IMO.

My pedalboard costs approximately 191 Metal Zones.

Yeah, of course. I've built up or heavily modded probably 8 guitars in the past couple years. Selling them is always a loss. But like, I think I still profited in experience or something?
