Take a look at the Hungry Robot pedals, they have two different reverb pedal.
I never tried them, but seems very interesting.

What's your fav mode on the RRR?

One thing that makes the RRR fairly unusual as pedal verbs go is that it is very clean and hifi sounding. I love my Boss RV3, but I love it because it's a little dark and dirty.

BOSS and MXR both have new reverbs that are sounding more hifi than guitar reverbs used to be. Maybe give them a try? You may need to go H9 heh

I still stand by the fact that it's a great pre-dirt reverb (but the RM-1N is in hindsight better), but it's waaay too mellow/weak to be an 'end of the chain' reverb.

Good memory though!

I feel like I say this a lot, but the bloodmoon really rules. I have nothing but praise for it. I'm sitting in an airport now, but I'll try it full wet tomorrow. Maybe send you a clip on Instagram or something. That probably won't be an option until Tuesday actually...

Edit: and I watched a Seahawks game today. It was the first football game I have seen in a few years. Weird times.

Dang, you've got an rrr AND an Avalanche Run, and you've got issues with yer ambienttoanz? :?:

I can only give ya cheap suggestions, don't have too much booteek monies these days. I'd say RV-3, but dispite being awesome, it doesn't give you the same control as the reverbarator, and I don't think it does full wet either :idk:

So yeah, stack that shit, work with what you've got...OR hold out for that new source audio verb :snax:

I used to be good at reverbs, but since I got a space I'm spoiled. I've wanted to try an RRR in the past, but if I got a reverb now it would be a real spring reverb. I'm not all lost though. A suggestion for a purely ambient reverb is the TC T2. It's huge in sound, smallish in footprint and price. Don't know if you dig on all that editing, but you could technically tailor a ambient reverb you need in the toneprint thing. I think it would complement your RRR quite well

^agree on the tc, I used to have a hof and rrr together and they were a fantastic combo, rrr near the start of the chain and hof at the end for long ambience

Well I wouldn't say issues, but I'm coming off of a TimeLine + Space combo, so I've been spoiled with absurd amounts of reverb. I liked the Space, but it just didn't work out for live work, too overwhelming. What I like about the RRR is that it's a very riff-friendly reverb, but doesn't send you down the hole of massive decay with deep modulation.

Re: Bloodmoon: I don't really need 100% wet, maybe closer to 60. My band is more of a "I can't hear you, you should turn up." vs "maybe I should turn down" so a subtle verb is lost in the mix. Supermoon was cool but I couldn't really tell if it was on or off in a band mix. Bloodmoon would be a cool complement reverb, as well as the SM Chrome.

T2 is a great idea and the price it's right, I'll definitely keep an eye out for one when I can sell some stuff.

RV-3 is one of my keepers, but the volume drop! I could probably deal with it for massive ambience though. I need a small daisy chain to free up some power supply outlets!

Follow up: brought the RRR, AR, and wild card DD7 to practice today. I'm going to be shelving the DD7, I got all the ambience I need from the RRR+AR combo. I might still get another ambient reverb for synth/at home instagrambient, but for my live board the Reverberator slays.

I thought the reverbs in the RRR were nice, but none were really special to me. My favorite patch was the rotating speaker. I think about getting another one, sometimes, just for that. :animal:

Thurb', I have a Supermoon Chrome that I'm getting ready to let go.
