I just got a Murderberator and it's *just about* perfect. Tone and control is awesome. It replaced a Mr Black Supermoon, which I really liked, but the mix only went to ~50% and just wasn't wet enough. I really liked the long decay, so I'm wondering if anyone knows an RRR substitute with longer decay, and possibly trails. I mainly use H1 and P1 modes, and I'm not interested in a Bitquest solely for reverb.

I'm at my gf's sis and bro-in-laws place. They're big pats fans (I'm wearing a Brady jersey wtf) and things are getting heated here.

I love the RRR by the way. Finally and functionally it's the best reverb I've ever used, it just doesn't have that #ambienttoanz long decay that I like.

There's the Bloodmoon, which is the Supermoon with 100% wet.

The MXR Reverb has pretty good verb + trails as well. I believe it uses the Sharc chip and requires a decent amount of powah if that's a concern.

Part of me wants to keep the RRR and use another verb as my mega ambient pedal. Alternatively I'll just get and In Limbo III and use my Avalanche Run as a higher mix long decay ambience pedal.

I'll definitely look into the MXR reverb more. I actually forgot that it existed for a while despite liking its tone when I first heard it. Sharc is what Strymon uses right?

RRR < BitQuest reverb mode

Just saying...

I have one on my floor board and one on my tabletop, both for reverb. I've had the RRR, DBA verb, Space, Context, and probably a few others at the end of my chain before. BQ just wins every time.

I had a BQ and I just didn't bond with the reverb mode it was cool but didn't have the wow factor (imo that is) I think it's a great pedal but it felt like wasted potential as a reverb. I might have also had a BlueSky at the time, which I really like. If we're talking verb I liked the BSR more.
