I've recently found the second amp I want (something low maintenance, sounds great clean, handles the VI, maybe stereo ins, light and small so I can carry it around quick), and it's gonna be a JC-40. I'm in the process of downsizing stuff, mostly old cables and DIs and maybe my old monitors... All stuff from back when I contributed to gearing up a rehearsal space that will help pay for that.
I'm gonna probably flip one or two less used pedals to expand a little. The list of stuff I want, for now, looks like that. Will have to be funded by the flips and maybe my birthday gift. Need to keep frugal. And the rest will wait for next year.
MASF Possessed
MASF Raptio (should replace the freeze on my board, so might probably flip that as well)
Ezhi&Aka Moomindrone
Dr. Scientist BitQuest
Bananana Effects Growl 567
This list might evolve depending on what satan (well Vidret) has gotten me. Obviously might have to take into account possible redundancies, though I guess what he got me isn't a pedal.
There's still a couple of things I need to do around the guitars as well. Selling or keeping my Les Paul comes back to mind constantly. I love it but don't play it that much. I'd like to polish a few details like finding good looking knobs for Squier JMJM, fix the battery clip thing that I broke in my J-200... Really long term (beyond 2017 I guess), I'm thinking maybe a cheap telecaster that I could keep around for downtuned and open tunings playing, with bigger strings so it still sounds cool. Also, if Squier ever releases a VM XII, I'll jump on it.
Well my 2017 plan was to sell most of my pedals and sort of start afresh with a simpler set up I could use live, but after getting a little fucked over on the fretboard, I decided to wait and see what happened after the festive holiday season. Then I got really sick for a few weeks and, once i got better, i decided I needed to record my new album as soon as possible, so I now have a new drumkit and a bass guitar in my spare room. My wife is mad. Anyway, I got the email from Source Audio last night about their new reverb and now I'm so super pumped to get it, that will probably be my one major pedal purchase this year. If Hologram bring out something special, I might be interested in that too, though. SHRUG EMOTICON
I cordially invite you to fuck right off and let the rest of us talk about music like adults.- dubkitty
I don't really set yearlong goals for gear, but since I've caught the experimentation/drone bug, I'm going to be needing a looper pedal. I was also thinking tympani would be amazingly cool, but given the price point and the footprint, that's more of an idle fantasy than an actual goal.

If you are light on funds consider the G1Xon? It has a 30 second looper as well as many other features.
