damn fine band. most people will focus on TR and his involvement, but i see it for some thing new and different. i like what ive seen and heard so far. fo' reals
but apparently trent admitted that this stuff does sound like NIN and they're already working on newer stuff that doesn't sound like NIN. it was just a step they needed to take to get things moving forward. (yet i dont understand why they had to release it if it's not what they're "going for") we'll have to wait and see.
Made the mistake of going to youtube and readding the comments for A drowning. People are such idiots. Everyone was like "This sucks, bring NIN back" - Hey, it's okay to not like some band, but just to dis somethig Trent does because it's not Nine Inch Nails, sucks ass. The Yoko Ono comments made me laugh, though
I got this like, the day after it became avaliable. Trent Reznor is my all-time favorite musician. I'd buy just about anything he put out, (Didn't like ghosts, though)

The thing that shocked me most about HTDA is finding out that Trent is married (I don't really keep up with celebrity gossip)... and that his wife is such a babe (I think you all already noticed )...... then I listened to the song, and I got all . I'm just really excited that he has a new project already. There didn't seem to be a whole lot of time between the end of NIN and the beginning of this. Can't wait to hear the whole album.
I like both the video and the song. I will admit it creeped me out a little towards the end when she was sitting there on the floor with a huge head wound, staring up at the ceiling singing while being on fire and having chunks of her hair burning off. It was probably the most realistic example of person on fire since Rage Against the Machine.
