Re: Big Metal Judder Question?
Which expression pedal are you lot using? Tried to use a Moog EP-3 today and also Boss FV-500 but not a lot of action going on compared to using the knob. Was really looking forward to using exp on this one

Re: Big Metal Judder Question?
when i first received mine a few months ago it seemed totally foreign to what i heard/expected in demo clips and even after a while messing with it i was getting pissed off....idk what happend but we bonded, and as far as the mix knob goes..no problem...i had trouble with understanding the env/stutter parts of the pedal...&same with my masf possessed the maker drilled the back plate on so tight i ruin the bolts trying to unscrew them so im left to wonder whats inside. mix knob on the judder helps me not send my amps into crunchfuck feedback.
such a great pedal.

Re: Big Metal Judder Question?
For the expression pedal I think it needs to be closer to 10k to work correctly. The pot value is 10k and some reading I found about the chip used says that larger values for that control do not work.
I was planning on making a small step down load box to make my moog closer to 10k and see if it works.

I never could jive with this pedal. I don't understand how the fuck to use it no matter how hard I tried. I'd still try it again though. LOL

Re: Big Metal Judder Question?
Roland EV-5 is 10K I think and it covers the whole range. Plus there is a neat quirk when you turn the knob on the side of the EV-5. Made a demo to show how that knob extends the range in both Short and Long modes. This lets you have a different window to have the expression pedal cover, in the Long range setting it pushes the Judder into some cool glitchy noisy stuff. I've got the Judder set up with modulation/lfo/expression off so its clear what the expression pedal's doing here. I've tried my Moog EP-2 and it doesn't cover much range but you can dial into that similar glitchy noisy stuff in Long range using the knob on the side of the moog too.rembrandtvanrijn wrote:Which expression pedal are you lot using?
