TAFM and Pretty Years and reverb have been the big ones so far, make the in built sounds more interesting. Need to experiment with more combos though!

Re: Speaking of drum machines
I had a go with my beats today, it's limited in sounds and controls but it is so easy to grab, plug in, and start making a OONZE OONZE OONZE beat. I wanted more realistic drum sounds and stock it only has a 3.5mm headphones out so if I wanted to use pedlols I'd have to find my 1/4 into 3.5mm adapter.friendship wrote:I'd love to hear more of your thoughts about that. I'm leaning towards the volca for a recording project, but I would probably want to record each drum individually so I can have control over individual levels during mixing. But maybe that's at odds with its performance functions?WayToHip wrote:I have a volca beats and it's fun to use but I feel like it is more of an instrument for live performance than a drum tool.
I still use it as a metronome and will one day find something that syncs the beats to a DAW and then to a Boss DR. 660.
