Owner does not know what kind of brand it is, all he knows that it plays great. His selling price is 300 dollars.

I'd play it first (if possible) to see if you like it.

At first I thought it might be a Jedson, but those pickups lead me to believe it may be a Hoyer. In either case, I don't think it's stock.

If you like the way it plays, it's definitely worth the $300.

I'll go against the grain and say no.

I think you could talk him/her down to $200, and for $300 I think you can do better.
