Mine was a Buzz Box Clone picked up from MusicGoRound for dirt cheap. It wasn't built well and sounded like trash but I was young and stupid :)

Atleast you weren't young and stupid enough to have picked up one of these as your first fuzz

Houdini116 wrote:Just curious as to what some of your guy's first fuzzes were. My very first one was a Boss Fz-2 I scored off ebay for real cheap, I was obsessed with Electric Wizard back then (still am). I still have it, although I don't use it as often, the 2nd mode does a nice thick-bassy superfuzz sort of sound, and the clean boost kicks a lot of ass, never really found any use for mode 1.

So...What was your first fuzz? Or what were your first couple of fuzzes?

wow this is basically my story also.

firt song i heard was funeralopolis and i shit myself when the whole band came in. :yay:

NYC Big Muff. I dug it, but too much of a mid scoop for bass use.
