First of all I always keep the boost engaged. In the users manual it even states there is a pre set gain boost in addition to the adjustable volume on the boost. Also I am boosting it with a vintage RAT clone, on a diodes out setting, its not the additional gain I like, as much as the grind and chunk it adds. Bottom line is I couldn't be more stoked with how great it sounds and how much fun it is to play through! Super smooth, which might be surprising and "chewy" for a lack of a better term.
