For the sake of adding something that hasn't been mentioned. You can get these for super cheap used (like around $100) and I think they rule. It genuinely surprised me. Independent channels that can be stacked together. Not sure if there are any good demos out since its an older pedal (i think) but in person I was impressed.

Youtube Channel?

This is a clip of what I was talking about before.
If you can convince EAE to do it, I'm down.

Yes! He built me a 3 mode standard fuzz and was great to work with all through the process.gnomethrone wrote:ILFer ianmarks has built me some rad pedals for super cheap.

Misread thread title as "dual distortions outlawed" and thought maybe it had been snuck through as a rider on those new rosewood regulations.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

Yeah, I will go to bat for the Twosome. I've had two and should really get another one and keep it this time.BitchPudding wrote:I can vouch for the twosome. Got mine from ugly a few years back now i think. Been my main sound ever since.

What about the Waveformer Destroyer or a Deucetone Rat?
Rats are dope. Two Rats are better.

Not to be "that guy" but I have a Rat + IC Muff pedal I'd be willing to part with.

Prolly not in the same league as most of the other stuff that's been mensioned so far, and it needs an extra switch to be an actual dual channel drive pedal...
But anyone here ever messed with the Boss OD2-R? You don't hear/read about 'em too often, but Boss the Boss OD/SD series isn't half bad imo. A bit too plain and bluesy for my taste, but still...

We have an old OD2R at our space, it doesn't get used much but it does sound great at certain settings. Even good on vocals. I guess it's like a dual distortion in that you can use an external switch to turn the turbo on.
I have seriously never even tried a two-in-one dist, far as I can remember. Definitely considering one, like maybe a BAT Coven, for the 'last' dirt spot on my board.

I've wanted to make my own out of a GGG muff and some sort of OD in front of it, but probably never will because i'm lazy.

I don't really see the point in NOT going for two seperate pedals that you can each put whereever the hell you want
A two-in-one deal probably costs a bit less and takes up a tiny bit less space in some cases...But other than that, you can't make a dirt/reverb/whatever/dirt kinda sandwich with 'em...
If board space isn't an isue and you've got one or more other dirt peds on yer board though...Go nuts
