Get one! I have a feeling that Fender is making a killing on these guitars. I love how Fender did away with the clunky tailpiece that the Mustang is known for. The simpler hard tail strat style is great. Best $500 I've spent on a guitar.

Boo - guitars with internal springs are the only way to go.

Basically keep things as minimal as I can:

-get a better power supply to replace 1 spot
-explore all the features of my In Limbo III
-get remaining parts needed for back-up Mustang
-learn to string slot-head tuners without destroying the furniture in frustration
-get some replacement rubber feet for V2 head, so I can stop balancing it with two copies of 'Mad's Don Martin Comes On Strong!'
-find a new pickup for bass

That's it for gear.

Yea, it's not a Mustang without the clunky lipstick abortion trem.

I'd buy one in a heartbeat if it was proper.

By the way if you ever want a demo of the preamp out of the Mesa F series let me know.
That would actually be really cool! Especially if you play single coils and run dirt pedals (instead of the distortion channel) into the front end!
I can do that.

And I should add that as much as the P90 one might sound nice, if it doesn't do the Mustang harmonic on the front pickup cover.....do not want. :)

I'd like to complete re-wiring my rat bass. It's just a matter of making time.
I'd like to buy new pickups for my Blacktop Jazz. May re-wire while I'm in there for a few minor changes.
I'd like to find the time to buy one of those Bass VI necks and turn my first guitar, an Epi strat copy, into a Bass VI.
I'd like to DIY a GGG Muff and some sort of OD into a single box.

Would be cool to try out one of those eastwood Mandocellos or Tenors.
I'd like to finally get a mini/literally anything smallsound bigsound.
Limbo III for sure.
A better power supply.
And I've had the same strings going for about 8-ish months, so new strings.

I would except that it's about as similar a guitar as I could get to my tele-jaguar build. I only have two guitars so I need some functional distinction, unfortunately

Functionality schmunctionality. My three guitars are
1) old Mustang
2) Telemaster w/ tremolo
3) Thinline Jazzmaster

They all do the same thing but a little bit differently, but they're all "Fender" singlecoils with floating tremolos, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Ok. I'm going to make an actual list and try to stick to it here. I already said some stuff, but I have been thinking more about what I'd love to have and actually use a lot.

These are in order of how I'd like to purchase them

1. Providence Brick Drive
2. DSM OmniCabSim
3. DSM Drive Maker
4. Cog Grand Tarkin
5. Chase Bliss Spectre
6. Industrialectric Squarewave Generator
7. Industrialectric RM 1N
8. Earthquaker Devices Avalanche Run

That's the official list that I'm going to try and stick to. Before I can buy anything though, I have to pay off 700 dollars in debt. So I may not get very far this year or I may go further than before. Only time will tell.

I don't NEED any of these, but I would enjoy them.

I'd also like to purchase a new cab (or used, I don't care) and some recording equipment. I'll see how things go.

I've got really simple goals for next year, no hoarding cause I have to move soon.

1)More DIY stuff
2)Go stereo

I really just want to have loops going to one amp, fucked up shit going to another amp, and then find a drummer. Simple goals.....hopefully.....

2015 was the year of amps and pedals.
2016 was the year of cabs.
2017 for me shall be the year of basses. I'm saving up for one or two of them, and my short list is a Rickenbacker 4003w, a custom EGC bass, and a 6 string bass.
