No one's afraid. But you know what's great about ILF, especially as opposed to most of the other forums? IT'S INCLUSIVE. Come hang out. There's no need to segregate yourselves.

Hot Take: No disrespected but, about 40+ of us would have been hanging around on ILF for like a year and a half now if you guys would stop the whole "We are SOOOOOO inclusive, but please follow these 36 rules" stuff.spacelordmother wrote:No one's afraid. Uhm. So. What I'm saying is you are welcome to join in with the rest of the forum instead of keeping to yourselves in this thread. I've interacted with a few of you and you seem like nice folks, but I don't see the reason for only keeping to yourselves. I haven't been burdened by a single rule on ILF, except that assholes usually get trolled off pretty quickly and then forever remembered in sigs and jokes (so even if you're an asshole you get to have a legacy here). If you plan on posting pedalboards, why NOT do it in the thread for posting pedal boards?

Re: Pedal Breeder Thread
I think there's probably a middle ground somewhere.
I've said this before, ILF can sometimes have a tendency to be more than a little clannish.
Curious to hear what you think those "36 rules" are, shuman.

Re: Pedal Breeder Thread
I actually will post it there. But, honestly, as I did in the PYPB thread at TB, I prefer to post less minor updates on there. The last time I posted my boards on ILF, they were almost identical to my boards now, aside from 2 minor changes. I feel like I am spamming you guys and trying to get attention if I post there every time I have one different pedal. I love seeing all your boards in there, but I don't want to start posting pics in there every 2 days, which is sometimes the rate at which I get pedals.Brandsmannen wrote:Uhm. So. As for the res of the site, honestly, I will venture out more as I spend more time on here, I just really have not.

Re: Pedal Breeder Thread
I'm sure you'll fit in. No one will force you to post every two days, and if you want to show off sweet new hauls, then there is a thread for that (inspired by a talkbass idea even!) viewtopic.php?f=149&t=11555
There are plenty of bass players on here already, and you seem to have quite a good number of pedals you know about, so I'm sure you'll be an appreciated contributed. Plus this thread started as quite the shit show did it not?

Re: Pedal Breeder Thread
This thread started just fine until a TB mod shit on it and then a few cliques here shit on it. And, yeah, I will post in other threads, we just had a tight group in the past and tried to maintain here. No guarantees more wile come this time around.Brandsmannen wrote:I'm sure you'll fit in. Re: Pedal Breeder Thread
Basically this. I think the breeders will explore the other areas of the site once they're in for a bit.jwar wrote:Ok. I read the back and forth banter. I have no idea what happened on TB but Jack told me something about OP here basically ruining the thread by being a reporting douche nugget. So perhaps I'll get the ban hammer here once they fluff (Heh) through all the content.
As far as being an ILF member and having a thread like this. ILF doesn't require it because even if we have drama, and some of are stuffy old fucks (DOS), we still love each other and are mostly chill. Those who aren't either conform or they fuck off to the nether regions of the interwebs (IE The Gear Page).
I don't see a problem with this thread, but ILF as a collective whole is one big breeder thread.I think that has been failed to be articulated here.
Sure we shit post, troll each other, tease, make dick jokes...etc. We also come together, get each others backs, bail each other out when we can, and keep each other in check. It's a really cool place to be apart of.
I'm happy to have more refugees. Some have turned out to be our best members! I mean, I started out as a TB member and if Ben Humps a lot Humpfree wouldn't have told me about this place, I'd have never known.
So fuck you guys. ALL OF YOU. Now kiss and make up. Or like give each other head or whatever.
This thread is the Marijuana of ILF, for it is a gateway into the dark abyss of toanz.

Over half the quirks we've developed of the past couple years aren't really required here...nshuman wrote:JonnyAngle wrote:jwar wrote:Ok. I read the back and forth banter.
