I don't think the timing will work out for me to grab one on the kick starter but I'm definitely going to snag one after I move.

Yeah I should wait, but I didn't. I backed it already. So I'll wait to pick up that Synthfarm thing. Especially because I need to buy some pickups. And I'd like to eat this month

I backed the shit out of this bad mammajamma. Earlier this year I bought a small mackie mixer to go with my modular in making electro-acoustic stuff. This will save so much hassle, and it's probably going to fit on a pedalboard like a dream.
I play guitar and modular synthesizer in Juggable Offense.

It's cool as fuck and I definitely plan on getting a DIY version if not now, then in the future.

This is wicked tempting, I love it the features. Seems like a very fun piece of kit.

I think it depends on how you want to use it. You could get away with it as a standalone contact mic manipulating device, sure, but there's way more interesting things to be done with it if you have a modular, IMO -- any time you can turn something into a CV/Gate, shit gets real.

^^^^this. I think it'll be awesome standalone, but integrated with some CV/Gate compatible gear or elaborate thingamajiggs with the DC interface and so on it'll get real nutty and fun.

This is the reason why I come here, to find out about stuff like this. I wonder how this would sound integrating the contact mics into my drum setup (kick, snare, djembe) and contact on my guitar? As a way to provide interesting texture over other texture?
