Definitely knobs. So much easier to make fine adjustments.

Sliders for mixers volume control and anything else for which relative visual feedback is important (multiband EQ for example). Apart from that I'm more of a knobs person I guess,

Depends on the device, both have their place but either will work for either when push comes to shove.

A good example is that my preferred DAW, Tracktion, has always had a multi-slider (X and Y, but combined so you can mouse both etc) for volume and pan adjustments.

I'd prefer it to be knob for pan and slider for volume as traditional, but I've made it work for a decade or so now!

Cosigned. Knobs are easier to make fine adjustments like spacelordmother said, I really only prefer sliders when I need to know at a glance where my shit is set, like ADSR and EQ. I hate synth filters that are on a slider, they never seem to have a comfortable taper. I like 2 twist when I go MWOWWW

Totally agree. Both have their applications and necessity. I'm not much of a rigorist in the matter though. I'll make it work no matter what if I like the sound
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

I can't doom. I play clean and only use fuzz for textures. Please don't throw me out of the ILF. Plzzzzzzzz pretty plzzz.

But yeah, dope band name. Especially if the rest of the band is willing to share a uniform to make the strictness apparent to a loose and lax audience.

Well I guess you're going to have to learn then, because you're also going to have the album cover be Bert from Sesame Street in corpsepaint.

If I had to choose one today, it would be knobs.

Ten or fifteen years ago? Sliders.

They both have their place, but regarding sliders - the longer the throw the better.

A tasteful mix is the best.

But seriously, show yourself out. You're French, I'm sure you already have multiple escape/surrender scenarios mapped out.

I recently made love to my Korg Arp Odyssey through the sliders. And when I did it on the TTSH it was even better. Really brought into focus how much I love staring into a dark panel and exploring.
I play guitar and modular synthesizer in Juggable Offense.
