Anyone else here into Buckethead?
I've always followed him through the years, not hardcore fanboy or anything, just a casual fan but I've been working my way through the over 100 albums he's released in the past 2 years and some of it is really awesome. Been on a bit of a kick lately. I know his aesthetic turns a lot of people off but I think it's cool.

I haven't listened to Praxis too much. I gotta change that because the 3 B's...Brain, Buckethead, Bootsy. 'Nuff said.

Re: Anyone else here into Buckethead?
I've been a big fan since I saw him with Primus at an OZFEST in the 90's. I love messing with people by playing them something off of Cuckoo Clocks of Hell and then have them hear his super chill emotional stuff like Colma. He has way more depth than his weird exploitation film exterior.
Good dealings with: Shanetram, Danolin, sonidero, oldangelmidnight, Strange Tales, greymedicine

Yeah Up on the Sun is a great record all around, and Buckethead is no exception.

I love that he plays wicked ripping metal stuff and then his mellow depressing albums and everything in between. Both Praxis things posted above are incredible.

Can't argue with that.John wrote:

Overall I think the first album is the strongest and most consistent. There's good shit here and there on most of their albums though.

(Un-Buckethead related, but in a somewhat similar vein) I like this kinda stuff too:

He's probably put out over 200 albums since you last listened to him so you have no shortage of material to investigate!DarkAxel wrote:Electric Tears seriously influenced my playing

I tried to reply to multiple quotes in one post. I clearly failed.
