CLUSTER FLUX

Post by resincum »

anybuddy here have one? are they worth it? been thinking about going into the hole for one for the past couple of weeks or so...every clip I hear sounds soo juicy and it has maximum control   only thing that bugs me is the power (already using the ac out on my pp2+; anyone have success using power strips out of those or is that not advised?) and I'll be gigging the shit out of it (that's a lot of coin to be stomping on :animal: )

do you love it?? are there any other flangers/chorus with that amount of control? I love the idea of being able to go from subtle to blast off real quick
..I think I'm gonna do it

this is also super cool

I have one and its very cool as an all-around modulation box. Especially with the LFO options. I power mine with a high-current output on a pedalpower mondo.

I briefly tried one out at the Moog factory. If it had been like $100 cheaper I probably would've impulse bought it because it was fucking awesome.

I have two and would never sell them. The 108 is one of the most inspiring, versatile, and powerful modulation boxes ever built. If you like weird sounds, lush modulation, or warm analog textures in general, it's really an unequivocal device.

It is the only one I have never played or owned.

But if the other peds are any indication, it is beautiful/bonkers.

I have one. Yeah, it's expensive, but it does a LOT of stuff to a world class standard, from really extreme sounds to shit so beautiful it'll make you weep.

It's fucking sick. Absolutely one of the coolest pedals I've ever owned.
I play guitar and modular synthesizer in Juggable Offense.

It's fun. It's a cv synth too (great with lightning wave).

As a straight flanger...eh, I have others I probably enjoy more sound wise...but I really like the clusterflux for odd stuff here and there. It does sound great and is one of my favorite pedals overall...will never sell it.

Can make some good drum sounds and creepy kinda soundtrack feedback oscillations.

Its too big of a pedal to put on my live boards. Especially since I dont use chorus or flange in my current bands. I have it on my big board at home for adding textures to loops or big sweeps for a couple beats in a riff.

Damn, now I want one again. Owned one for about a year when they first came out, let it go during a shortsighted downsizing phase. Got a Warped Vinyl on the way but if that doesn't work in my setup for some reason (or even if it does), I'd definitely consider the Cluster Flux again...
