You'd think so, unless I've been using it wrong this whole time. It at least seems similar to my OCD variants, though I'd really hesitate to suggest they were the same. I can always try using the EQ section to cut frequencies I don't need, since it's possible to distort whatever frequency each band is set at. I liked the way it sounded with distorted mids, although that just might have been the problem. Will give that a try soon too.

Any suggestions on frequencies that may crowd a guitar sound or otherwise might get in the way of clarity?

I feel like mids would give it more punch but less clarity? Having never used the pedal at all, I would maybe leave the mids and lows fairly flat, boost the highs a bit and keep the gain reigned in a bit?

I don't know though. I just felt like with an EQ section like that it would be a sure winner.

I still say Driving Notion, but again, I dont know how well it dooms.
