King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard

Post by kbit »

They just released a new song this week. It looks like they're playing guitars and basses with a different temperment that the standard 12 evenly spaced frets for an octave. Where does one find such a thing?

Dang I'm behind on the press release, what an amateur. Definitely going to see them next year.

That's pretty far into the future. Not sure I'm capable of planning that far ahead. :idk:

I like them but listening to them can be hard because I could record a better sounding record in my bedroom

I fucking love King Gizz. Cos they are from Melbourne I've seen em a bunch. Here's a mad vid of The River, probably my favourite song of theirs:

They've definitely gotten a lot of press in the PNW, being on KEXP and selling out a mid level venue in vancouver

Yeah I feel like they've been on US radar steadily for a couple years now. Great band.

I liked Head On/Pill for quite awhile. None of their other stuff has stuck yet. Seems like the Tame Impala fans I knew either went on to King Gizzard or Mac Demarco. Never both, either or.

If sounding like a hardcore punk demo from 1979 is great to you guys that's fine but I think it sounds like ass.
