I set the level to everything to just a bit above unity and barely any gain on the monarch with slight treble/bass boosting. it makes awesome wild kinda glitchy oscillations after a few seconds of sustain. pretty goddamn sick sounding even at fairly low overall volume. The monarch alone like this just gives me a pretty mild overdrive for the cleanz. I also put the whetstone between the fuzz and the overdrive and it seemed to fit a lot better overall
my dirt chain is workin well lately meathead>electric brown>badascan used to have the b'can up front but moved it basically cause thats where it fit when layin out my board i wired it up and liked it now that my herd is thinning and i got a b.a.t. od comin i should mix up my orders a bit before lockin them all down again a)ive never tried reverb up front b)all dirts on isnt usable but for noise and id like it to be maybe spread them out a bit put the meathead at then end after delay im just rambling
Looking to do some more experimenting with stacking overdrives. Currently using a Mellowtone Singing Tree (2 knob ed) into a Fuck. The ST it set to with the Threshold fully clockwise so it's more of a dirty boost setting. The Fuck is set to a medium gain. Both together push into higher gain territory. Do most of you guys use low gain into higher gain pedals, or do you do the opposite? Same goes with fuzz and OD stacking?

I usually stack like...two rats at the same setting into a cranked big muff. But, the two rats are both modestly distorting. So, yeah, I dunno, I guess I prefer lower gain going into higher gain, it makes more sense to me.
So if you're using the OD as your base tone (the ALWAYS ON pedal) does this have to be first or can you have it say third in line with a couple of fuzzes ahead of it for chorus or lead work? Or should you have them behind to keep it all in sequence in terms of usage?
I would put it after the fuzz. After the fuzz and also after the phaser. Should probably put it after the reverb too. After the wah? Yeah, after the wah. After the pitchshifter for sure. That probably does it?
Serious answer: why not just try it out for yourself with varying combinations? Or have it like fuzz->OD->fuzz->OD so you could do it either way? Buy all the pedals.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

get a patchulator 8000 and have the best of all worlds?
if you have your OD as your always on tone then it "can" be treated like your preamp.
so if it were an extension of my amp i would want to have all of my before preamp pedals first. wah into phaser into fuzz into your always on OD.
Pitch and Delay can go either way, for me. GENERALLY i like delay in the fx loop or after preamp, amp dependent of course, so you have some options there. some delays are awesome out front (carbon copy, dispatch master).
your mileage may vary, really, but it's more of a test it out and see what sounds best for you.
