ILF Pedal Featured in AP Magazine

Post by randel_07 »

This is the 2nd ILF Pedal that i've seen featured on this magazine.
But it's a fail in a major way...

It's as if they don't even make sure their info is right anymore...

How wrong can you possibly get in such a small space?

Things that are wrong.

1. It's $295 a pop, not $95 (though that would be sweet).
2. It's been licensed to Dwarfcraft Devices.
3. Devi is a SHE.
4. It's not a volume control/feedback looper. That's just the regular mangler. The joystick controls DF oscillation and VFM intensity.

:picard:
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

5. It's not really "new," it has technically been around for a while

It's AP. I'm sorry, but they're far from a decent source of information for much of anything. At least they got the fact that it was a fuzz pedal right.

Just one of the reasons I wont deal with magazines like this...they have no clue about our world of pedal building.

Honestly... it's just fact checking. Make sure you got the RIGHT INFORMATION before you commit to print. Sometimes these magazines/web sites amaze me with their lack of follow through.

They probably excuse it with the general lack of interest from the world. Those who really know are here.
