Same here. Bought and sold a whole bunch of em ovet the years, never hung on to any of em for longer than maybe a couple months.

I now have a Ditto X2 though. I only use it for washed out background noise, playing anything over an eery 1/2 speed reversed tune makes it sound twice as awesome, and it's a ton more fun than looping a 'normal' riff :)

My Neewer (Rowin/Donner) nano looper arrived today. The size is comparable to that of the Donner Wave delay I recently purchased. It looked a bit worn-in for a brand new pedal, which was likely the result of the free USB cable jiggling loosely around the box with the pedal during shipping. The level knob seems to be at unity when cranked, so it may not be possible for loops to be louder than the input signal unless the volume of the input signal differs. It is pretty bare-bones operation like a T.C. Electronics Ditto, i.e., monophonic and one stomp switch controls all functions. The build quality seems decent enough, total loop time is allegedly 10 minutes, and the sound quality is acceptable for bedroom noodling. I never realized how out-of-practice I am until I began to try to properly align loops. It's quite easy to end the loop a half beat too soon or whole beat too late when tapping the switch a second time for playback. I need to start practicing with a metronome or drum machine again. :erm:

On the 856 for zellersasn you can make long loops on top of short loops. What other loopers can do that? I'm planning on having the 856 on my tabletop, but I'd love to be able to do it on my floor board as well!

Synchronized to each other or not ?
The EHX 22500 can have its 2 tracks either in sync (second one being a mutliple/fraction of the first) or not, in which case any duration works. Great pedal for tabletop, saves loops on SD card, etc.

I have one of these btw (EHX 22500) so if you have specific questions not answered by demos/etc. I can try things when I have some time.

How immediate is starting/stopping the loop when pressing the switch? I notice the very slightest changes in time when it comes to stuff like this and it bothers me. I like the 22500 but wouldn't go for it if it's too hard to time.

Boomerang III does this as well.
But you can't save loops, but you can have up to 4 loops(in sync or not I'm sync) at the same time. :D

I just did some tests using stuff that I recorded previously and was already on the card, it seemed pretty instant to me. This thing has soft switches, and as soon as the switch is completely pressed, the sound starts. You don't need to apply much pressure (especially if you're using a foot instead of fingers like me). It's pretty consistent, I think.

uh Ct5 does, too...mode 3. Not synced, though. Otherwise yeah, Boomerang. It is the best.

does the ditto x4 do this too? so the ehx 22500 is a contender with the likes of the headrush and ditto?

no, the ditto x4 effects are global, so if you double (or half-speed or reverse) one of the synced loops, the other loop doubles too.
