Hey, been running the typical RAT into MUFF setup for my 'post metal' band, its a good simple platform but I feel the RAT2 is thin sounding... I put a order in for the new Openhaus dist/fuzz pedal from Tonesczar - hoping someone can chime in regarding their experience with the pedal. Primarily live how it sits, tweak ability, bass transparency etc. I also requested the Vault fuzz to replace my muff, it sounds really high gain and apparently does not sound like any muff based pedals. Again, any users on here? how would both pedals stack as they are both high gain pedals?
Thinking of replacing my pedals with:
ARC EFFECTS KLONE V2 (Bass boost switch) > OPENHAUS > VAULT > RE-20 > SUPERNATURAL > AMPEG V4
Goal is to have three gain stages Klone for light/medium, Openhaus for gain, Vault for fuzz slamming parts.
Thanks!

Yeah, jwar & excane are fans of the Toneczar pedals, but I don't think they're really Klone fans.
(I wouldn't use a Klone at the beginning of my chain, but I like my boosts at the very end anyway.)

Oh damn, forgot Excane frequented the forum. Dennis pops in from time to time as well. (Psst, his Toneczar demos are my favoriteChankgeez wrote:Yeah, jwar & excane are fans of the Toneczar pedals, but I don't think they're really Klone fans.
