i am going to eat a tony's pizza and then record sound clips! then i might put it on ebay. but probably not because its got k-on gals on it... A) i like the cuteness and B) that could be like copywrite laws?
stay tuned
i gigged it last night and i really liked it. i mean heres what i was running...
dano u1 into an ibanez tuner, the electric apple prototype, a dd-7 and amp trem and reverb. i put some mild reverb on all the time. i used the apple at full gain for a fuzzy solo on one song, on another song, i had gain at noon which is basically a grainy light crunch sound, as i wanted an amp sorta breaking up sorta sound (since my ampeg is 50 watts it was running really clean). on other songs I had gain at 3 o clock for some saturated overdrive, we also covered Pixes Here Comes Your Man and i had the gain at 3 o clock for it, so i could playt the melody line with some dirt but on the verses where its clean i just picked lightly and it worked nicely. if you have the gain maxed i mean its basically a warm fuzz, but at 3 o clock its saturated overdrive with good touch sensitivity.
-the sound of my guitar -the range on the tone control at minimum gain -the gain knob at noon for gritty break up -the gain knob at 3 o clock for saturation and touch sensitivity -the gain knob at maximum gain with the guitar volume rolled back a bit, demonstrating touch sensitivity and clean up -rolling the guitar volume back up at maximum gain -feedback
in retrospect, I had the tone control set a bit warm throught the clip (aside from when I was showing the tone control range). it was at about 1:30 the whole time, i should have bumped it up to abotu 2 o clock
That was really.... nice. Yes nice it the best term I can think of, so clear and well, nice! Kind'a reminds me of a Ampeg JT-12. I still want to hear bass with that amount of niceness, but I'd still get one to try even if you don't.

but im not good at bass
Killer! Don't worry about being good just play lots of low notes , that is were you really can hear how a dirt box reacts to bass vs guitar, low freqs actually push stuff more and the more lows you run into it the more compressed the clipping gets, which is sometimes good and sometimes bad.
