Re: Holy PLL clone
Kept seeing this pop up on Instagram but no videos -- just different pictures.
After watching the pedals and effects youtube channel interview with JP from the Locust I had a temporary hard on for a PLL.
Then price tag and also reverb and delay pedals.

Yeah, if this works it could be a viable option for people with the same (new) erections..

I just watched that pedals and effects episode(s).
Didn't know that existed, and reminded me about a whole bunch of great bands I haven't listened to n way too long.
So thanks for that.

Re: Holy PLL clone
I had an elta fuzz for a bit. It was ok (a year or more ago).
I know somebody with his polivoks filter clone and he seems happy with it. Lots of wires and the boards hung from it. He was selling that pll at the same time we bought or pedals and was also guy selling the "too hot" for eBay manhood noise maker I think.
Really good seller though. Responded quick and really cared about making the customer happy.

Everything worked fine. Paint job was total quality. Just something to note (some people are more anal than others/probably still cleaner than an actual Schumann).

Re: Holy PLL clone
Yeah, I saw the Elta PLL clone on Fuzzpope's Instagram... looks badass.
For a while, it seemed that we were about to enter the magickal Age Of PLL Clones...

I guess that in a sense we have, in that PLL Clones exist as a thing at all. Such a beast of a machine!
Let us know if and when you get your Elta - I'd love to hear more clips of these things, because, well, there are so many potentials for crazy in there...

That giant PLL thread (with the "you can't just make a PLL it's a work of tortured genius") is still one of the all-time ILF Greats:

I have no idea why I took that as an invitation to read through that thread, butD.o.S. wrote:That giant PLL thread (with the "you can't just make a PLL it's a work of tortured genius") is still one of the all-time ILF Greats:

Edit: Oh shit, thread actually includes the birth of Industrialectric, some wisdom from Digi2t, and builds by ss/bs and LaoWiz. Plus mounds of drama. 10/10 would probably not read again, but neat.zetamkiii wrote:I type how I text jigga. It's faster that way, Cuz people like to know what I'm thinking. Re: Holy PLL clone
I read that entire thread when I'd first joined ILF, it was seriously entertaining to read, but also pretty frustrating to read that many pages with so little information on WHERE I CAN GET A DAMN PLL PEDAL NOW. Fast forward to now, I've had Harmonic Decoder (complete balls), Mini Ark (totally awesome) and ow I have a 4046-m and a flex xs, I'm happy
Seriously though from what I can gather from the Schumann and clone demos, the original PLL design is quite a different beast, and I want to try one. I think the drone switch is a must, when I had the Mini Ark my favourite thing to do was drone the synth voices on the start of each bar and play melodies with the fuzz and -2 octave over the top. God I want another Mini Ark now.
