You could always start with the "intro" version. Its a simpler version of live with all the basic features. Its more than enough for beginners. I used the light version for about one or two years before I upgraded to suite, and i think that was a good thing. Ill think you´ll get overwhelmed by all the features in suite if you dont know the basics.
