Dual delay times. Two different settings, one switch to alternate.
Sweep delay like that of the DL-4, or similar. Seems like a filter/phaser thing, not sure how to call it.
Band delay. Eventide H3000 style. Plugging an envelope filter into an fx-loop equiped delay pedal seems like a rather elobrate approach
Reverse delay, DD-5 style. This one could get tricky without actually getting a DD-5. Which would't be pricey I guess, but it doesn't seem like an efficient use of board real etate for just one mode imo
Looper, DL-4 style. Another one that falls in the mission impossible category. Right?
Pattern Delays. Too bad I couldn't at all get along with the TimeBender
Analog delay. Just your basic not-too-dark-not-too-bright bbd style repeats.
I'm aware that just a DL-4 would nail five of those requirements at once. But I'm disgusted by the shitty build quality, and I also don't like the idea of sacrifising half the surface of my board. The slight volume drop could be fixed I guess, but still..Those flimsy switches and knobs ruin it for me...:/a
Echo Park delays have gone up in price for some reason. And the god awefull enclosure and clunky switch are just beyond stupid.
So I'm looking for one -or more realisticly two- pedal(s) to cover as much of the above as possible. Thanks.
