Kizumonogatari pt1 is finally out in 1080p with a decent sub :joy:
and pt2 comes out in theaters in japan tomorrow... but probably 6-7 months until the BD for that...

still pretty happy this season between danganronpa, love live, re:zero, souma, and new game.
i can't decide if i like Mob Psycho 100 or not, though. One Punch Man was kind of overrated but still enjoyable to me and it seems to be about 80% as good as that.

I've recently began watching the original Genesis Climber Mospeada series for the first time after already seeing the Robotech rebrand/redub. It kind of reminds me of the original G.I. Joe series in many respects. I keep expecting to see lame PSAs at the conclusion of each episode. Otherwise, it's still a smattering of recent Crunchyroll simulcasts for me including Re:Zero, Orange, Berserk, The Morose Monokean, Mob Psycho 100, 91 Days, Alderamin on the Sky, and Hitorinoshita.

Anyone watching Kono Bijutsubu ni wa Mondai ga Aru? (what's up with these long-ass titles? Dammit, japan!)

It's no masterpiece, but it's worth following.

Yep, I think it's worth it. The characters are likeable enough, there are some laughs to be had, and it took a bit of a turn in the last couple of episodes (ep6/7) with the red haired transfer student and all. It beats watching re-runs of Friends on cable, anyway  (seriously, that's what we get on cable over here...).

And for the record: Flying Witch was awesome. We're talking (almost) Non Non Biyori levels of mellow here. Awesome. Best anime so far this year. And we MUST have a season 2.

Oh, and speaking of Non Non Biyori, check this out: http://nyanpass.com/ Good lord. :!!!:

Flying Witch is my favorite anime in a long while. So lovely. Also really hoping for a season 2.
Caught up and really enjoying New Game! Also starting My Hero Academia.
Started into Love Live and Sunshine, but they didn't grab like I had hoped. Really enjoy the gifs on tumblr, though.
Thinking about trying out a Monogatari.

I watched Hyakko this week, was pretty good. Fun twist on the whole high school slice of life thing, nicely animated too. Recommended.

Just wait for Nise to roll around.

Whole series is pretty fantastic though, Monogatari Second Season was probably my favorite output so far. I should pick up the books again sometime.

Should I go down an Akiyuki Shinbo rabbit hole? Everything I've seen from him (this, Madoka, and some Hidamari Sketch) is insane looking.

You know, I kinda fell off after second season. I dunno, it just felt like a chore after a while. Parts of it are definitely great, with nice dialogue and interesting storylines, it just felt like I had to put up with more and more bullshit to get to those parts. YMMV.

I finished S1 today. Depending on a phone interview I have today I'll probably watch most of S2 today or I'll have to study. I'm also making plans to marathon Lain with my friend who hasn't seen it before I move back to georgia and I am freaking pumped
