Collective don't care beyond hoping that Ben and Louise didn't get fucked on it too bad.

That's the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw the Facebook post.spacelordmother wrote:Collective don't care beyond hoping that Ben and Louise didn't get fucked on it too bad.
Didn't even realize I was following Devi Ever FX on Facebook. Must've "liked" when Aen took over.

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
Every so often I see people post boards where they aren't using a traditional amp but are still playing live. I've seen Skulls and Hbomb both use the EHx 44 magnum, seems like lots of people use the verellen pre amps running just to a power amp sitting on their cab. Anyone do this for an extended period of time and like it? I use my peavey musician as a nearly clean, flat power amp, and I'd love to not bring it any more if that is an easy option.

So, I have two Eventide pedals that will be placed right next to each other. This is where my English and google skills fail me. I want to connect them via MIDI, but I still want them to be as close to each other as possible. Is there a MIDI "cable" without the cable out there? Like one of these jack things:

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
I would avoid those phono (1/4") couplings for such a purpose; when you step on a footswitch your momentum disperses through both pedals because there is no give. This shortens the jack's lifespan on either one.
A standard patch cable or George L's in particular allow for similar spacing, and when staggered can space closer together than the couplings. I don't have any experience with similar midi couplings but suspect it's the same concept at play. I'd get a short cable run with right angle connectors.

That ^
Don't do it, unless you have an external controller and never stomp on them.

I'd like to thank ILF for helping me learn the ways of oscillating and weirdness as key elements of my sound. My pedalboard is now entirely shaped around a base tone (delay into overdrive) and lots of things that can oscillate but don't have to. It's super grand fun!

I like the idea that someone who was very important to "everyday boutique effects" (if you will) is building those pedals under that name. It's a nice bow (on an amputated leg, perhaps).odontophobia wrote:That's the first thing that crossed my mind when I saw the Facebook post.spacelordmother wrote:Collective don't care beyond hoping that Ben and Louise didn't get fucked on it too bad.

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
CB updated their Fuzzrite with the Moseley name on board haha. I wonder if it is the daughter, Fillmore, Ed Roman (I know he doesn't own the name, but he can't stay away), or something (I assume it's Semie's daughter or second wife (if she is still around) due to the Moseley name otherwise it would be Mosrite). Anyway, good to hear that they are trying to make right and they made some effort.
Edit: It is via Mark Moseley. That is a new one... interesting.
I figured it had to be someone outside of the Mosrite name (Dana is under that too/working with Fillmore...such a mess with that brand name).

Clean only mesa amp, originally made to make the MkIV Stereo, but can be used alone. This is such an interesting amp that I can't help but have gas for it.
