Nothing really happens when you scream into it other than it being a bit louder. Using the high mic input setting and placing it close to the speakers so that it feeds itself is cool though. Great fun at parties.

That's what I'm afraid of. The likelihood of other people handling it putting things on it goes up so much from one off shows.Inconuucl wrote:If only you/people who are going to treat your stuff gingerly will be handling your board and ylif you store I well I need band, then soft is fine. If anyone else is touching your shit orbit you have multiple heavy things, then definitely hardcase. It costs more to fix several broke pedals than to get it. Also, sound people and star hands will try their hardest to break your stuff, depending on venue of course. :P
Anyone have experience or thoughts on one of these:

Seems like a killer deal. It's almost the same dimensions as my current board.

I would be wary of how sturdy they are but the reviews seemed pretty favorable?

That's honestly fine. I'm thinking of putting one on my board and using an XLR a/b/y to switch between that and dry vocals with the same micUglyCasanova wrote:Nothing really happens when you scream into it other than it being a bit louder. Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
i had one of those rondo's once upon a time. the really cheap small silver one. maybe they've changed or differ between models. it was basically like cardboard held together w/ elmers glue surrounded by a thin sheet of aluminum to make it appear sturdy from a glance….its not.
if your not going for the case for solid protection you'd prob be okay. it was a decent case for holding things.

Exactly. Not awful but not great. The sturdy Mono Cases for pedalboards are probably more sturdy. :/Dr. Sherman Sticks M.D. wrote:i had one of those rondo's once upon a time. the really cheap small silver one. maybe they've changed or differ between models. it was basically like cardboard held together w/ elmers glue surrounded by a thin sheet of aluminum to make it appear sturdy from a glance….its not.

Their flight case may be worth it -- who knows.

Yeah I'm going to do the blackbird one. The Gator pedalboard I have now has a nice, really padded bag, so I'm not trying to do something that is marginally more protected. I need some actual safety and confidence if things get stacked on it a little or things shift in the car, ya know?

But dope nonetheless.
What are your settings for the 141g? I've been using the one neonblack got my for SS '14 on bass -- curious if you use it with your bass or not.

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
Nah I can't help, I don't. I dont play bass anymore actually. The lack of a solid and loud bass amp and accompanying rehearsal space is probably why. Moogs have plenty of low end anyway

Was about to start a new thread, then remembered all the drama that might be reignited, but anyway: Apparently Devi is running Devi Ever effects again. So, uhm, yeah, that's a thing.
