Yeah, it can sound wild after modulation. I run a Green Ringer clone late in the chain and modulation can emphasize certain frequencies. Nicely nasty! :)*

That makes complete sense. Ok so I'll start out with it post flex, blue box, synth wah, molecule, but pre noise floor and df2. The one demo of the flex xs on YouTube kicks in a purple octopus pre flex about halfway through, which is thought was a bit odd considering the way pll's work.
