Re: anyone here live in Burlington VT?
There's a good guitar shop (with Fairfield Circuitry stuff!) called Burlington Guitar and Amp right downtown: http://burlingtonguitar.com/
And there's a GREAT little record store called Pure Pop right around the corner that has show listings and all that: http://www.purepoponline.com/
And I caught a good show of some local bands at this coffee shop called one time: http://www.radiobean.com/ (The coffe shop down the block from Burlington Guiatr and Amp is good too, just less music-centric.)
All good places to hang and maybe mingle with the locals. Very friendly town.

Kosta you've been to Burlington? You know all the hot spots...
The coffee shop down from Burlington Guitar is none other than Muddy Waters I believe. A getting muddy shake and chocolate chip cookie is key. Like Kosta said, they're not quite as music-centric, but god-damn are they delicious.
And basically if you walk up the hill there you're bound to get yelled at to join a frat party...

Yep, I'm lucky to have awesome family up that way, so I've been able to go up there and hang out pretty regularly. Always a good time. So many lulz about the frat party hollaz. Very true. Some insane headshops down there too. Goooooood dub reggae to be had in that town. More delay! Selassie I! Hahhahaha.

Re: anyone here live in Burlington VT?
DUDE Burlington is a college town, so there's a party EVERYWHERE.... you will fit right in, there's one street in particular that is nothing but bars and clubs, not bad for a sleepy resort town way the hell upstate Vermont...
I was there last march to see Jeff Tweedy do a solo show, then spent the next 16 hours after that drunk.... outstanding....
you have to plan to hit Henry's Diner the next morning, great food for recovering from drinking, order the Bill Clinton Special, it's amazing.... so long as you're not vegan....

Re: anyone here live in Burlington VT?
hopefully we find a place to party.
last time i was there we went to see some blues band at radiobean.
things seemed really dead, then again it was a wintery tuesday night.
friday night should do better, with finals over at the college. we'll wander around until we find something!

Al's french Fry looks like my kind of place.
grease dogs! mmhm.
i'll try to check out Henry's Diner too.

Re: anyone here live in Burlington VT?
show was great, danced my ass off
met some chicks and went to go party at their house
they all took schrooms (secretly) and became wreaked out of their minds and unsociable
(i dont' ever want to have a conversation again about how money is an extension of the penis.. lol?)
regardless i drunk myself to fun times with my buddy on Chivas
we passed out on couches in a solarium
left to go hike a mountain in the morning before anyone woke up. (i guess sneaking out in a situation like that is alright)
good times. thanks burlington!
