That's good to know. So for pedalboard use would I first create some loops playing guitar and recording those loops with a looper pedal and then sample those into the LoFi Dreams?
That's how you would have to do it, which is why I don't recommend it for pedalboard use.
I think I'll pass on this one then. Thank you for sharing your first hand account of owning this pedal.
hey just for anyone who's interested. i've started working on v2 firmware.
while i'm not sure how many new features there will be and what they will be yet...this will definitely be one.

i got it going properly just a moment ago.
audio input passes thru now when in playback mode or in any mode!
am also working on getting the firmware and instructions for how to update it online

So let me get this straight... Dr. Sherman Sticks M.D., you are not the one making the pedal but anybody is able to write code for it and that is what you are doing? Is this correct? Thanks for the info btw! Audio pass through for this pedal would make it much more usable for a pedalboard! :)

it is designed so that anyone can write code / update / modify the firmware using the free arduino software & the usb port.

in the beginning tho, i was under the impression that it would be possible for anyone to grip the code from the device and transfer to your computer,
i have since learned that this is much harder to do if not impossible (reverse engineering assembly code back into C or something like that)

so when v2 & the next batch is ready, i'm planning on putting the necessary files up to download along w/ some instructions/guide. so anyone can update their LD's or tweak the code, come up w/ their own firmwares, or use it as a springboard for learning.

anyway, did some more work on v2. couple new neat features going that i'm not going to say at this time. tweaked the filter to be more beefy. learned some new tricks.

Cool! This pedal is still on my radar and I look forward to what you come up with. A guide would be great!
