I had either the TAFM or Buzzz on like 90% of the time I was playing.D.o.S. wrote:Did we even have any in Oslo?![]()
I should have looked/tried more gear, probably. I know I heard a TAFM somewhere in there during one of the jams.

I know I used Vidret's Buzzz in the mausoleum and i'm pretty sure I used UC's(?) TAFM for the Ace of Spades jam I think?
As a sidenote, I loaded my ipod with the mausoleum jamz and have been using the harsh noise walls to lull myself to sleep

snarky answer: Clearly, then, they were very memorable and unique pedals.monkeydancer wrote:I had either the TAFM or Buzzz on like 90% of the time I was playing.D.o.S. wrote:Did we even have any in Oslo?![]()

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
I'm somehow at a new high for me as far as pedals coming in the mail. I picked up an alter ego x4, which somehow got to me in like 36 hours, and in the mail is an RRR, TAFM, and an Accountant. All this while thinking I am "pretty well set on gear." What the heck is wrong with me? Hahaha none of these pedals are even remotely new.
Can I blame serious GAS on a new baby? Baby was born a week late, and all purchases were made during that late week. That's how I'm rationalizing it at least.

Good to know. I may preemptively empty my PayPal account next time before known stressful events happen haInconuucl wrote:Lack of constrain in buying things is actually a common reaction to stress.

I just did the math, and I've flipped exactly 80 pedals including the three I shipped out today. More than half were fuzzes.

Re: The Whatever Thread .. For Gear!!
I'm thinking about making a major purchase, a Roland 404. Do the online retailers (MF, Sweetwater etc) have a sale for Labor Day? Is it worth waiting for Black Friday? I'm hoping to get 20% off. Looks like typical retail price is $500, I can find re-conditioned units for like $380 so if I can get a new one for $400, that would be nice. What would a savvy shopper do?

I've seen them in the low 300s, secondhand.
