Any chance there are midi presets? Or are they just on the board?

I still have to finish some of the midi programming but program change messages to set the preset should be supported.

Are you locked into a sequence of 16, or can you set the amount of steps?

You can use as many or as few as you want.

Yip, so inside each preset you can program two completely different settings. They don't have to match length, they'll both just loop. They should stay synchronised, say if one is half the length of the other... every second loop of the shorter loop will line up with the longer one etc.

I know this isn't listed as a feature, but do you have any plans to add an expression pedal input - perhaps to adjust the scale or on-the-fly sequence recording?

I did think about this, maybe next revision if there's enough interest.

They should do trails because of glorious, glorious buffered bypass.

I couldn't fit trails in, the compact is true bypass or buffered bypass via a dip switch. Getting trails and true bypass in and switching between them is electronically annoying and I'm really pushed for circuit board real estate. If there's a few people wanting trails, I can modify a base board easy enough but it won't be switchable back to TB.

So, the expression in on the (Compact) Limbo III will be a CV in as well right?
Just in case one wanted to, I dunno, sync that up with say, maybe a Lightning Wave Doom or something?

Yeah it will, I always make it an expression and CV jack in one. I think as well, it should be possible to trigger the ext tap using the step sequence and make arp like pitch shifts.

I'm really psyched to pair these with some LW stuff. I think the Doom has been delayed but I did see piles of the others almost finished at Lees on Saturday!

Of course! You even have options, you can use 2x mono cables or a single stereo plug. The output is either stereo or by changing a toggle you can mix the two channels together to mono - so don't necessarily need a stereo rig.

Yip, first Limbo III compacts going out now. These are all hand finished so all have different graphics as I'm still waiting on printed enclosures. Two more left, available the end of the week.
